MARK Product
I co-founded furniture design and manufacturing brand MARK Product in 2008 motivated by my own experience within the industry as a designer and specifier seeking greater transparency and circularity in the products I was specifying.
As Creative Director I led on development of product ranges, furniture design and product development in tandem to leading our brand communication and content strategy, sharing authentic stories of our products, our people and our manufacturing processes and material choices.
We designed and developed 30+ furniture ranges for indoor and outdoor workplace and hospitality environments designing several ranges as Hart Miller Design and also commissioning leading industry designers such as Tomoko Azumi, Dylan Freeth, Gala Wright, StudioMama and Kay&Stemmer.
MARK was acquired by The Senator Group in 2025.
With co-founder John Miller we built MARK from ideation into an establish brand with a product range across soft seating, casual dining and outdoor seating.
We established long-term relationships with the UK’s leading architecture studios, design practices and furniture dealers supplying furniture to workplace and education projects such as WWF, BBC, Ovo Energy, EY, Goldman Sachs, PBWC, RCA, Kings College and UCL.
All our manufacturing was in the UK, predominantly in Cornwall (MARK stands for Made And Realised in Kernow, Cornish for Cornwall) where we were based. Our products were designed and developed in line with our industry leading sustainability strategy, ‘Do Net Good’ with three foundational pillars of accountability across: Community, Lifespan and Materials.
MARK was B Corp certified and were FISP accredited reflecting our commitment to the highest standards of social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability.
