Furniture and the role it plays in our interior environment has been a foundational part of my design practice. It shapes the spaces we inhabit and influences how we feel and interact. 

In 2008 having specified commercial furniture on numerous projects I felt we were deeply missing ethical choices and transparency in the production process. 

This thinking was a catalyst for co-founding MARK Product – a British furniture design and manufacturing company that prioritised making locally, designing for circularity and communicating with transparency on our material choices and product lifecycles.
