Mullion Cove Hotel and Spa
Appointed to deliver a full interior design service – establishing an overarching design narrative that focused on the guest experience of all spaces and which each phase of work could be woven into.
The opportunity at Mullion Cove Hotel and Spa was to elevate the guest experience of the place as a whole so that it matched the first class hospitality of the team.
Initially asked to refurbish a single space – we took the opportunity to use this design concept to shape a new direction for the overall experience of the hotel interior. In tandem, fulfilling the operational objective to increase year round occupancy, appeal to non-residents and to entice a new profile of guest.
Our team worked across a rolling programme of works across 30 bedrooms, self-catering accommodation, shared social spaces and the new build spa.

Social spaces that were under utilised were redesigned and reconfigured to create places for guests to enjoy additional moments in their overall experience of the hotel.
The spa was a new build phase of the project with the ambition to further appeal to a broader customer profile and to increase vital year round occupancy. In the first year advanced bookings increased by 25% coupled with a year-on-year increase of in revenue and the hotel has now been awarded AA 4-star status.
